Back To School Prayer Rally

On Saturday, August 20, 2011, the Silver Lining of

Hope Crusade Inc., including more than 50 churches, partnered with the City of Inglewood and the surrounding communities to bring awareness to the violence that affects our communities. The event was held at Ed Vincent Park in the city of Inglewood. It was a peaceful celebration through music and prayer. The event also included various inspirational speakers plus vendor booths with resources for families impacted by violent crime and/or gang violence. More than 600 children received free backpacks with school supplies. This amazing event brought awareness to the violence that is affecting our communities while giving back to those in need.
